Let the Bible Speak is a ministry of the church of Christ in Michigan‘s Upper Peninsula. Here at LTBS, we believe that biblical illiteracy is one of the biggest challenges in modern society. Therefore, our primary goal at LTBS is simple: bring the Bible to as many people as possible. We believe Scripture has the ability to change lives, to change people‘s eternal fate, and may be the cultural catalyst we need to begin transforming our society into once that models God‘s image and values. Most of all, we want people, through God‘s Word, to discover Jesus, the source of salvation, whose love and sacrifice drives the church today. God has blessed us with the privilege to pursue this mission for 49 years on WLUC-TV6. Now, we‘re working to expand our reach through this podcast. Alex Meredith, the host of the LTBS, is the preaching minister at the Marquette Church of Christ in Marquette, MI. Alex has been in ministry for five years and has a BA Bible & Preaching degree from Harding University. Brian Poe is cohost for the program and preaches at the Escanaba Church of Christ. He also serves as chaplain at OSF Healthcare in Escanaba. Brian holds an MDiv from Heritage Christian University.

Thousands of young adults today are on a desperate quest for meaning. The symptoms are obvious: anxiety, loneliness, addiction, suicide—but the root of the problem remains elusive for many. The problem is simple: they don’t believe their lives make any difference. Worse still is that many are surrounded by grown adults who believe the same, or at least communicate as much. The church should look to build up the younger generation and point them in the direction of hope, not tear it down. When properly empowered, Gen Z can be a force for enormous good!
